Code Formatting - when working in a team on a shared code base it'll aid productivity greatly if you establish a set of formatting standards and stick by them. Ideally you can translate this to an IDE template and automate formatting.

If you're going down the Wiki route I'd highly recommend Atlassian's Confluence. It's the easiest to setup and most user friendly (for non-techy types) Wiki that I've come across to date.

The big win for me with Instapaper is the cross-platform and cross-browser support. Apples offering is Safari and OSX centric. What use is read it later when I potentially can't get access on the device I'm using?

Pruning old APIs wouldn't put me off. What puts me off is the inter-dependencies between APIs. Want to use Google Prediction API? Well you'll need a Google Storage API account for that. Oh and, you can only have one of those for free.
