You can do something akin to QueryInterface from COM, though it's a bit verbose. https://play.rust-lang.org/?version=beta&mode=debug&edition=... (ninja edited a few times with some improvements) With a bit of A

The important change here appears to be that the internal representation of a vtable is now guaranteed to have its supertraits laid out in some predictable prefix form to its own methods. EDIT: or if this is not possible, a pointer to the a

That was a surreal episode and probably the one that was cemented in my head the most. I had a friend who was a big fan and had introduced me to them before that. My copy of flood might have been the first music I ever bought with my own mo

True, though what I like about DAC is that there's far less risk of optical surface damage. Sure there's ESD risk but I find that much easier to manage.

Floor to floor in a house isn't too bad with 6-7m, but I suppose there's always the AOC cables that are 20m+.

10G media converters are available for < $50 USD, but TBH I've never used one.

If you have any way to pull cables between floors, try pulling DAC cables. They give you 10+G, require no splicing (hardware can be found cheap now), and generally just work as you'd expect. With a 10G backbone, you can get away with b

AliExpress sells some basic ones from $300-700 CAD ($200-500 USD) with reasonable reviews. Whatever you do, don't try using the razor-style "hand splicers" and adhesive splice kits. Without a splicer that has a scope, you&#x2

I bought a røde wireless mic which definitely helped. It gives deepfilternet enough good signal:noise to work reasonably well, but I was hoping there was an even better solution.

As someone looking to replicate it from a pro mic setup, what do people recommend? I've been trying to record audio in my noisy server room but only deepfilternet is able to deal with the fan noise in the background.

Company hawking an orchestrating backend server says you should use an orchestrating backend server? You still have four layers, it's just that one is hidden with annotations.

I got bit by this: it's an expiring intermediate cert. The workaround is reasonable for anyone with some basic technical chops. There's a hidden Chromecast activity that you can boot on Android to ignore device validation. https:
