How on earth is this legal? Yelp started fundraisers for restaurants, made a barrier for them to collect those fundraisers, and is presumably holding on to a ton of cash people thought was going to the restaurants? This feels like plain fra

There doesn't appear to be a share-window/share-screen option which feels like that makes this a non-starter for a lot of work-related applications.

OT is majority US, but UK/JP/MX/CA are also big markets for them and I wouldn't discount that data. Source: I'm a former OT employee :]

Question to those who know: I used FreeNAS and liked it, but my recent build is Unraid because I had 24 bays, and didn't want to buy all my drives at once, and afaik FreeNAS/ZFS is not super great with adding drives to the pool, e

Facebook listed 3 of the 45, including one that I'd argue does not at all violate TM or phish. In a post like this, they'd likely pick the most egregious examples, so your statement about how obvious this is is entirely baseless.

This is the Achilles heel of any potential competitor. The lazy integration means there is a big subset of users who simply won't engage with a competitor because it requires more work. Couple that with the social graph Goodreads alrea

This has given me an idea for a cheatsheet generator site. I feel a lot of cheatsheets are pretty similar: section, subheader, and a list of keys + descriptions. Could make this an easy little vue app.

The way I've come to describe it with my therapist is that it feels like, internally, I have 12 different brains. All of them are constantly scanning around, interested in different things, making it very hard to focus on one thing, bu

Interesting that Keats is at the top. I'm currently reading (and almost at the end of) Hyperion, and Keats plays a significant part of the story. One character proclaims Keats to be the purest poet to have lived.

I've been big most of my life, for a few years I managed to drop 100lbs and unfortunately gained it all back. It's staggering how differently people treat you, whether they realize it or not.

My mom, in 4th grade, dated one of the Fry boys. Back then the family had a grocery business that the father of the family ran. He sold it to help fund Fry's Electronics. Sad to see it crumble.

Part of the problem that Cambridge Analytica ran in to was that it was a "foreign agent". A lot of what it did would be legal under an American entity, and I think many in politics know this.
