The cynical part of me is in complete agreement. I hate that I assume ulterior motive to charity, but Bloomberg wants to be in politics, and this is a big move at the very beginning of the primary races.

I thought it was great. Very food-porny, but in a well done way. Only 4 episodes, so a very small investment if you get hooked.

Recently, Bloomberg has had some very stilted articles -- editorial tone pushed in to articles and choice of coverage. It feels odd, and it feels wrong.

Honestly this makes sense, and I hope the rest of the industry follows suit. I'd rather all car companies be working towards one, strong implementation of self-driving, than for every individual company to work on their own. It would a

Not sure why you got downvoted. James Cameron makes a lot of sense, as he was the first person to pilot a sub to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

Maybe I'm cynical but I see this as a negative. Nearly every voice interface I've used outside of the big ones has been abysmal, half baked, and temperamental.

Twitter is not 'supposed to be all about [free speech]'. It's a microblogging platform, not a political stance.

I wish car companies would stop trying to make EVs so goddamn garish looking. This car is so abysmally covered in blue LEDs that is just fucking SCREAMS "I'M AN EV" in the least subtle way possible.

California generally has a good track record of hitting longer-term environmental goals. 2045 is a long way out, but it is a length that will allow for unclean plants to see through to their end-of-life, rather than kneecapping current plan

Cigarette butts will have fully degraded within 15 years. Plastic straws take hundreds of years unless they're flaked off by the sun and then become small plastic bits in the stomachs of fish (still undegraded). It's all bad, but

TAL tends to deal with a more specific topic or story compared to Radiolab, which deals with an idea that has many smaller bits. The editing reflects this. I find it fine to listen to.

I think $3500? At it's peak it was making around $200/m, so that is a bit more than the 12x monthly rate that websites used to go for. It was making a fair bit less when I sold, though, I just didnt have the time to keep it update
