The biggest barrier for any Nvidia competitor is that hackers can run the models on their desktop. You don't need a cloud provider specific model to do stuff locally.

I just ignore the whole “frontend stack”. I would suggest to stick with traditional server side rendering and for interactivity use htmx/alpinejs.

The real problem is the lack of css understanding. Once you learn basics of css and start using developer console/debugger it becomes easy. Also, most of the time all you need is flexbox https://css-tricks.com/snippets&
