Big data was always a buzzword that was weirdly coopted by database people in a way which makes 0 sense. Of course there are vanishingly small number of use cases where we need fast random access to any possible record to look up. However w

Even OpenAI is burning money. There is no way that xAI is worth more than Twitter. Inflection basically collapsed: the founders and best of the technical team jumped ship to MS. They were massively overvalued and basically produced nothing.

Their founding team and first few after that are top top tier. Honestly some of the best engineers at DM. Unsurprising really given that he was offering ~$10M/year in comp. The rest? Who knows.

Then why pull the voice in the first place? If it goes to court I’m sure discovery will unearth a bunch of emails and slack messages pertaining to this as well as documentation about the make up of their training sets and casting and perfor

Johansson is rich. The real value she could get from this would be as an advocate for the rights of creatives, performers and rights holders in the face of AI. If this goes to discovery OpenAI is done. How much do you think Disney or Univer

There isn’t a positive announcement here, what is wrong with you? This reads like “we got caught red handed” and doing the bare minimum for it to not appear malicious and deliberate when the timeline is read out in court.
