Great job, Jack! I love when companies open source their projects. Aside from sharing knowledge, they're a great 'passive' way to recruit.

Fantastic advice. I first learned about this fantastic advice from a blog post by Dan Martell that I read a year or two ago. Unfortunately, I can't find it on his blog or searching Google or I'd post it. :\

A couple of times a week, I wake up at 3 or 4a & can't go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Does anyone else run into this? What approaches did you take to counteract?

This just shows that "hackathon" is becoming more popularized. Today, everything is a "hackathon" which is rather annoying, IMO. In the past year or so, we've seen legal hackathons [1], marketing hackathons [2] and more. Now, more and mor

Fantastic mission statement: clear, concise and it sounds almost impossible to do. It seems like people really get behind startups with the biggest, craziest visions....it almost serves as a built in rallying cry.

It makes all those comments that flat design doesn't convey enough information, and makes everything indistinguishable, so true. It makes it very hard to understand what I'm seeing. I took screenshot of same location with the original map

When we see something we don't like it isn't bad to complain about it in and of itself but what isn't okay is this self-righteous attitude people have started to acquire. It's this phenomenon where we think that we can not only publicly sh

We're constantly reading content on here that tells us to follow our passions, take risks and solve problems. Just Landed does that, but it's not an "important" enough problem to solve. He "wasted" his talent and should have focused on the

I like this idea. Great job!! However, Twitter already sends emails out of tweets that are popular in your network. My only concern is that they could easily shut your service down & do the same thing as your app if they wanted to.

When consumers swipe cards, they don't think of the economic implications behind it. They just want their "stuff". When you put things in real terms of the economic impact for fees like Milne did, people can see the difference it could make

I'm inclined to agree with robgough's response. Jobs didn't need to respond if he thought it was a waste of time and/or didn't care. He simply needed to give approval - not much else needed to be said.

Absolutely! The thing I liked so much about these ideas is that there was a lot of vision & thought put into describing them. With Google Fiber + mobile....the people of Kansas City can become more connected.
