This is cool, and I have one of these! It's performance can be surprising both ways: somehow I am both underwhelmed and impressed at the same time. I'm for sure looking for an alternative though.

I wonder how this would look elsewhere as things like WASM for extensions becomes more popular. How would you model capabilities in Rust? How would that not apply to the whole results binary?

That second video was quite interesting and had a pragmatic tone. Would recommend.

There likely isn't any real harm in an AI that can be baited into saying something incorrect. The real issue is how HARD it is to get AI to align with what its creators want, and that could represent a serious danger in the future. Thi

Thanks for the link. May I say, I am SHOCKED at how much they have been able to accomplish. Incredible. I'm sure it's not all rainbows but the demos were amazing.

That is continually the issue with Telsa: not necessarily the failure of the car or FSD or whatnot, but the failure when success was oversold to the point of embellishment.

Maybe you didn't intend to imply this, but I don't think it's primarily a lack of emotional intelligence on HN, but more so that logic perspectives is what people expect/want from this particular community. Seems reaso

Wow, that was a very interesting strategy for removing trust from the situation by effectively "check-mating" the behavior of the other guy.

Obviously Disney is far more litigious than really anyone and therefore this is more likely to see courts in this matter, but can someone explain to me how this doesn't compare directly to what should be happening with GitHub copilot?

I'm another very happy user of keypassxc. Passwords are too vital to me to depend on the security and reliability of network services. They also have a browser extension, so I mostly don't experience a large usability difference.

I agree that using foreign key constraints is the right choice, but the tone of your comment comes off as very condescending and dismissive, and I don't like it.

RFC3339 (similar to ISO 8601, but more strict) is great for computer readable use cases, but I've found it lacking for human use cases since there is still technically room for ambiguity and it's unfamiliar to most people. For any

Tech jobs vary wildly in pay, but their marketing language doesn't. This makes it very hard to know what's worth your time. The reality is, if you're making >$100k and a recruiter comes offering "a great opportunity t

Others have mentioned market forces, but I don't think that's the only reason. Personally, when buying online there are a lot of things that go wrong at little (or no) fault of the consumer. Some examples are ambiguous (or missing

I think some of the comments shed light on an interesting dichotomy I've noticed while talking to folk about K8s: It seems that if you stick to simple configs, a setup hosted for you, etc, basically the happy path then people have had
