Indeed! "Scrolling sucks but here's a quote from another review on why that's OK". I'm not saying competitors' offerings are better, nor am I failing to realize that's just his opinion but come on, this is clearly from someone who's only

I agree. It's fairly in line with the new Metro and Phone 7 UIs. Not as polished though: * In Chrome, the carousel controls at the top right are cut off. Intentional? * The "For home" and "For work" buttons on the right shrink the margins b

Then, perhaps, it shouldn't do so on its project page and instead link to a demo. I found it extremely distracting just reading the project web page at all, never mind all the sudden fan noise.

So, he's comparing importing photos from Flickr to drag and dropping pictures onto Picplum? Wouldn't a more fair comparison be to go directly to Snapfish and upload the photos to it?

Compared to Safari? Really? I'm honestly surprised, as an iPhone user who had to put up with Safari for 3 years. The only nice feature about it is the Readability-powered Reader button.

This could enjoy some concrete examples. I tend to stay away from articles and books that make me feel like I've learnt something, but unless examples follow closely, I've just fooled myself into thinking that I've acquired new knowledge.

Ok, the "Hip{something}" naming madness has to stop.

Never mind that it's plain distracting visual clutter and serves no purpose whatsoever. Design for the sake of design.

Running Ubuntu with either Unity or vanilla Gnome 3 about 75% of the time on my MBP 13", after having switched to it from the increasingly ugly consumer-tailored, unstable Lion. Unfortunately, OS X still has a great lead in terms of input,

I noticed that as well. Stealing the idea for my own blog. Makes it very clear what changed, which is instrumental during learning.

Have I really been the only one who uses jsbin instead of jsfiddle? It's always been cleaner and, for me, much more responsive. I hope it gets more attention as a result of this.

Judging by the iBook/white MacBook-like white plastic backing, I'd have to agree.

Brilliant. A space that's 2x the width is both elegant and consistent with the existing UI paradigm.

Just wanted to say, in case the author hangs out here, that I very much enjoyed her writing style. Very funny and informative.

That seems intuitive because you're used to such a workflow. As someone who started out with git and then learnt about SVN, I found the non-distributed approach somewhat puzzling and limiting.
