A question to those at BB: if you're being laid off of leaving, where are you planning to head? There is a growing number of start-ups in Toronto and Montreal, and I wonder if they'd suddenly an influx of available workforce.

I think the bottom line is that all of these apps suck because of what the grand-grand-...-commenter said: it's much faster to pick up pen and paper, whereas apps take forever to launch and type things into by comparison. There's also the s

Also, what the hell is a card ? After reading the word "card" for the 5th time, even after reading the few paragraphs below the main image, I still have no clue what on earth a card is. Like an app in webOS? Or is it a game of some kind? A

If you liked it check out the Transformer Prime page: http://eee.asus.com/eeepad/transformer-prime/features/ It starts off with a typical terrible "people you would never see use an Asus product" photo and quickly gets very cool.

Because you don't always know your code base very well. I almost always use vim but when a new large project comes along I've found no better way to read through it than with a mouse.

Is it? It's tough to say whether the wording was the problem in your case without seeing the site though. Was the link visibly clickable? Was it a button? What would happen if it was a button and it had a Living Social logo on it? Bold tex

As someone who never used Greplin, I'll focus on what I do like: I found the layout quite creative. The top images of the iPhone remain fully scaled to your browser width, which means the menu below is only revealed when you scroll down. Th

This is amazing. I was just discussing this with a friend, and quitting Facebook was one of the first things we considered. Interesting coincidence.

As silly as it seems, I think there's tremendous power in that concept. For a lot of people Facebook is one of the few apps in use. Providing apps inside Facebook sounds like a great way to capture the audience Apple is missing out on.

Agreed. I came here wanting to say I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style. Technical details coupled with great entertaining writing? Count me in. I already read enough dry technical tumblrvomit as it is.

Are we talking about the same Gnome 3? Mine has a thin toolbar for the clock, and all the other UI is hidden unless you mouse over the top left corner. It works extremely well on the comparatively small MacBook Pro 13", to the point that I'
