The other problem have been the cdma carriers have been and still are the predominant cell carriers in the USA. That means most never used phones with sims until recently.

Helm is much much better than ido mode once you get past the whole "stop hitting tab so much you shell heathen!" thing.

I guess thats the key, I never really have my phone closer than 12 inches from my face. I still think we'd be better off with better batteries than trying to pack more pixels into a window.

Yep that looks to be spot on based on tcpdumps, although it would be nice to be made aware of this change in the release notes maybe.

So at first I was wondering why it was python. Then I saw that you could import Foundation and directly edit settings. Needless to say now I'm intrigued and kinda want to write an ansible plugin for this as I already use ansible to set

I personally always go for a fresh install. I just rysnc my home dir away and copy it back. The rest is mostly setup in ansible land now so I don't really lose much by installing fresh.

As I was using the beta I just rsynced my 10.9 homebrew install. Never had any issues with that strategy.

At what distance though, without that your statement isn't helpful. We all know the human doesn't have resolution like a screen but if we ignore the optics of our eyes I think thats pointless. There are people saying they use thei

Is it even physically possible to notice the difference in that ppi at that range? I thought human eyes didn't have the capability. I think everyone saying "yes I see a difference" should be doing some double blind validation

How many? A lot. And in the mean time, if imgur started to do that, then it will soon start to have a "pdf link warning" in short order as masses of ios/safari/ie users basically segment themselves out of the loop. In th

Yep, and if you're really hard up to get it into 10.10. Just extract the relevant binaries from the 10.9 version. Though a better question would be what the hell are you doing with 10.10 that you need to. OS X betas are very much beta.

Probably only applies to released versions of OS X. Apple treats beta a bit differently than I think many expect. It is a bit closer to the old school definition.

I'm guessing that whomever is responsible for this idea at Apple will no longer have the ability to do this again. I honestly thought to myself, did I drunkenly buy a U2 album? How much did I drink. Just wish I could do the same thing

Thats like saying that doing rain dances can't hurt and might bring rain. If you can't link the two its really not worth doing. Sure vitamins might not do harm (this is questionable), but that doesn't mean they are doing anyt

Interesting we both came up with C-\ for tmux, I like using C-a and C-b in emacs too much. Plus I forget whatever it does in emacs so it can't be important.
