I'm using adblock type stuff to conserve resources. After finding out about the memory use my safari process size went from 6g to about 3.5g (i'm a heavy user of tabs). So yeah it comes in handy for resource conservation.

I found it highly annoying, but understand why its there. But can't you do a[begin] to reach the first item in a julia array? That should really abstract it away no?

Quite possibly, however I have low tolerance for those kind of jerks in real life. I've long since given up caring what they think or say behind my back or in front of it.

If it helps any, dressing up in suits as a stereotypical white nerd doesn't help either. I generally just like to dress up as it makes me get in the zone of "work time" better. But I never have gotten called a slut i'll

Carry what kind of lifespan? Generally I don't trust anything anymore and have a 2 local copy + one offsite policy for data I care about. If I don't have that I don't care enough about the data generally. As for storage and c

On the second video they show them gimbaling towards the rocket and down as well as rotating so I think they have at least 2 degrees of freedom to aide in control alongside the engine gimbal.

I've had 2 ssd's fail on me. To the point that the data is unrecoverable, ssd's fail worse than hdd's from my limited experience so far. Hope you have backups either way. I also have at least 2 2.5" hard drives that

Even more fun is using tramp to edit files as root on a machine via ssh. The whole installed editor canard is somewhat a nonissue from the emacs side.

I agree but I also use DEBUG in my scripts to allow for on the fly debugging to occur. I consider it a degenerate case and its only there for my own use and abuse. All it really does is redefines certain functions to be more verbose or prin

Not only that, but didn't the music labels mandate Apple use DRM and keep it up to date? They always threw out updates after the DRM got cracked within a few days. Which struck me as likely indicating they had a legal obligation to kee

I had to switch dns for ipv4 regardless. But ipv6 actually seems to be around 50% of my traffic now. Native dual stack is way better than the tunnel nonsense they were trialing a few years back. I've had zero issues with ipv6 and comca

You can always just set GIT_REPO_DIR to a bare/remote git repo and not have to move crap around if you don't want to. git is a bit more flexible than how its normally used.

How is it a poor decision? OS X generally has been designed to not need right clicking. And where it does, aka Xcode you can just do control click in most places. I don't really see how this is a poor decision on apples part. For windo
