Financial aid, scholarships, and Federal loans (to an extent) help a lot for sure.

Im sure there's some group of people who are impatient and would have seen it in theaters to avoid the crappy hand camera version (or waiting), but instead can now just pirate it and can watch it asap.

Again, the products are good. It's not like Comcast where I feel screwed when I can only use them. If I want to use a different email provider right now I could very easily, but none of them appeal to me.

Is there any benefit to learning assembly now, or is it just fun to see what it was like then?

Honestly, this isn't a big issue for two reasons: 1. The Google stuff works. I would have loved for that kind of organization and management in my elementary school classes. Google docs is also great and means I don't have to beg

Being able to try apps is something I've always been surprised isn't widely available right now. There's a sheet music writing app on the Microsoft app store for $60 - I really want it, but I can't justify paying that mu

It was definitely cool - he had us writing python functions to estimate the area under a curve (and then visualize it), and other things I don't quite remember at this moment. Once he made us define math functions just based on there b

I'll have to email him - I was planning on doing so once I finish my senior honors thesis in CS education (which I'm dedicating to him).

For sure - I can think of several other students who took his class and are now doing extremely well in Computer Science careers. Of course I don't have statistics on that or anything, but there's a large group of graduates from m

I had a math teacher at my high school who used python and SAGE to teach us pre-calculus as well as programming, computational thinking and some mathematical logic. He was an absolute genius and I wouldn't be where I was if it wasn&#x2

I don't like how Richard and Dinesh are giant assholes this episode. We'll see where it goes though.

Why would that make sense for airlines? Missing a flight and then paying extra sounds awful, especially since the justification is "we could have also sold your seat to someone else."

Thank you! I'm surprised out of all the articles I read, none of them actually showed what's inside.

It's because this juice machine was a hilarious idea to begin with, a $700 juice presser, and now that it's not even doing it's job, it's not hilarious.

Is there any government good for human rights? I'm thinking about Iran, which is obviously a horrible place now for human rights, but it wasn't exactly a wonderland before the Islamic revolution either.

This is absolutely ridiculous, if they just supplied it correctly (something I was hoping they would learn to do by now) this thing would literally be free money for Nintendo. Or that's what it seems like to me - I know I would have at

Why is it unfair? Those companies presumably charge for their software, and maybe will be incentivised to go open source.

I think you missed the entire point of the article. It's not saying that they just need to study, they also need to know what the secret to the success is. Would you have thought that a test like the PSAT would be useful for 11th grade

The problem is that's not what happened. They kicked this man off to prioritize their own employees. An overbooked flight would never be boarded before.
