"NewCo is going to take the pain out of OldCo and their industry" Making the decisions easier is one thing, changing the industry is another. I wish them luck with the latter.

Interesting; I think a couple of those may break their logo user guidelines. While they are fun, I have a feeling that engagement or clickthru of the element they uncover may be higher without the layer of complexity on top of them.

This has nothing to do with fads or crazes, at least for me and many other's that I know. It is important to apply critical thinking in all aspects of what you do.

Drop gluten for 3 weeks; do you feel better? Feel bad when you get back on it? Problem solved, really. Until science supports our observations, I don't need much more proof than that.

Recently redid a WP site a neighbor had for his small business. Single page flat html using bootstrap. What fun that was! So refreshingly simple.

I've not done quite what you are proposing (I've "done all weekend", not hacking though), and from my experience I would suggest "Be rested going in". You are trying to peak here, I'm guessing you are hungry to do this, have the energy too.

This is a great example; these days we need a good butt kicking once in a while to measure where we are, to make us stop and reflect or perhaps "open our eyes". I had a father at my kids school ask me why I run ultramarathons. Its pretty si

Charts, graphs etc are interfaces to data. Boil those down to a language we are more used to using, for example, English, and it becomes easier to interpret the data. If the best interface is no interface, then here "language", a very commo

Interesting proposal, but I'm not sure I have the time for that. I have to think though, that the two avocados and 750 calorie bag of macadamia nuts alone have me at 1100. Perhaps I'll fire up my daily burn account again and get to it. Part

I have to say that has not been my experience. I've been keto a few times and have been now for maybe 6 weeks. By far my longest run at it. I dropped 7kgs and at the moment your rules as above do not apply. I can eat more total calories (as

While admittedly I haven't taken the time to read your entire blog post, I'm throwing this link out there for your perusal: http://thatpaleoguy.com/2012/12/19/calorie-rants-and-ketosis... Quite simply, you have to consider how a calorie t

Interesting piece from someone who has built, shipped and had success. Personally we're just climbing out of what he described as no-man's land... A situation that we seemed to slowly slip into.
