64bit Unix timestamp already exists. also it's a number of seconds, so how is it higher resolution than the postgresql timestamp?

there is no such thing as the "average couple" when it comes to bedroom stuff. not even in the US. of course the new direction is worrying, but in the end porn always wins, it has won in the past after all. james joyce, larry flin

sadly neither postico nor tableplus can connect using an ssh certificate. this is becoming a big drawback in organisations switching to ssh certs instead of keys.

isn't make older than gmake? it is normally gnu that adds extensions not compatible with the rest of the Unix world. making people believe sh == bash, make == gmake, m4 == gm4, and the list goes on for everything they touch.

not my choice. certainly less people suffer bash in the BSD world. while bashims may give additional features, readability and portability suffers. I much prefer scripts using a posixish #!/bin/sh and a strict subset of shell synt

It would be nice to have the physical dimensions of the device, how can the manufacturer leave out such an important detail?

even if it's "easy", does not mean it's "simple", or "quick". ever maintained a plone/zope instance? life is too short to convert that to python3 :}

the controls were not easy or simple, but certainly not unusable. lean out showed up in other games, lie down as well. but it's a shame no other FPS games tried the "mouse aim without mouse look" approach.

my worry is backing up from FS A to FS B where these file systems are not feature equal. just the fact that you cannot use APFS to backup APFS is worrying to me.

time machine local backups cannot be disabled anymore (was possible in sierra). these backups are going to a hidden volume and can be listed with the tmutil(8) command. it is not possible to delete all local snapshots with a single comman
