Sign up flows serve more purposes than just a funnel for new users (which IMO is part of a problem with how we build websites in general, but I digress). Anti-scam/fraud account identification can rely heavily on inputs up front. I&#x

I know you're trying to make a point about censorship existing, but I'm not sure if loli porn and scam online pharmacies were really contributing to the internet.

>KYC is not mandatory... except when you want to add or take out funds. This is Brave's own cryptocurrency that they use to sell their privacy-based browser. It's an important distinction.

Comparing an 800,000 employee company with 1,000 employee companies doesn't really match up. This comment feels a little like gaslighting.

This has been the model traditionally but retailers have been shifting to renting shelf/floor space to wholesalers and manufacturers. You may see certain fully-branded end caps in grocery stores, or kiosks in Best Buy, for example. It

Whiteboarding has been a real loss here. It feels like ages since I picked up a marker and made a data model. There really is no remote alternative that isn't super expensive or lacks the responsiveness of in-person.
