Vegetarian will be tough - although I don't have all the specifics, I remember hearing about how Tony Gonzales (NFL tight-end) went on a vegan diet and he seemed to be managing OK. Granted he was probably more in maintenance mode, but diet

So the May 1st edition of the Economist this year had a fantastic special report on the future of television. Although I agree it can be a huge time waste, I think live TV will continue to play an important role in media consumption going

IMO paying rent wouldn't count as a P2P transaction. I've used Paypal for years to pay friends, and there have never been any fees.

Since the wage data is publicly available, does anyone know how I would go about replicating these maps? I know I could use Google's charting API's for County/US state level, but how would I go about mapping data at the US county level? J

Interesting analysis, but I disagree on three points: 1. This analysis implies that a business would agree to work with Groupon if their sole goal were to maximize today's profits. That's unrealistic. 2. Many Groupons are service oriente

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I've been impressed with Amazon. What eCommerce sites are doing a better job? If you are looking at the US you have Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Target (based on Quantcast traffic). Throw in Overstock and a h

If you are implying that the opportunities in Japan are equal to those available in the US, then I wholeheartedly disagree. Both in terms of startup culture or slogging through a corporate job, Japan is vastly different from the US. Opportu

The longest I've read in one session on the Kindle was about 2-3 hours (typical for me if I'm reading fiction). After reading for that long, my eyes are a little sore, but the strain isn't signifcantly different from reading a paper and in
