I obviously didn’t say that. The exception for motorcycles is extremely limited — it’s more of a high frequency pulsing than a flashing.

Agreed about not modifying the helmet but I could imagine a helmet with such a thing built in.

I’m pretty sure by “generated electricity” they mean from some other source.

Most (all?) vehicle codes don’t permit other colors or flashing lights unless it’s an emergency vehicle.

This reminds me of like 15 years ago when python.com was a porn site. Now it’s just a redirect to some sort of cam splash page.

A 2” by 4” piece of lumber, a common dimension in the states. It’s being used metaphorically here, of course.

I don’t think it’s common to get a 30% raise in nominal comp in 2 years from these companies.

I once received an employment offer from a FAANG that was weighted heavily on the annual bonus. Like 1/3 of the total comp was 1st and 2nd year hiring bonus. I don’t get how that’s appealing since it seems like a guaranteed pay cut onc

This reminds me of some interview questions I was asked at Looker like 7 years ago. I felt silly drawing a stack and a queue but in hindsight I think it’s a good way to get some insight into a candidate’s intuition on these things.

It’s one step up from a PDA, which has only a stack. A buffer you can r/w arbitrarily lets one compute things a stack won’t.

Presumably these apps will be heavily locked down and reviewed by Apple to mitigate this. Could also imagine iOS ux to help here (obviously could still be phished).

Possibly less vegetation in shadow of these objects, and therefore less insulation between snow and warmer earth.
