The mikrotik ones have worked well for me.

It reduces peak amperage requirements which has a big impact since cable heating is proportional to the square of the current.

Turns out probably not, because the grid infrastructure is quite expensive.

Haha yes, like so many behaviors, collecting yogurt containers to re-use is adaptive until it isn’t.

Nice, love seccomp though as with all things security it can be very fiddly.

Yeah it’s like a collection of defined interfaces that share a common paradigm.

The scenario is that you’re calculating Qd given a static average latency. Absent that, this formula doesn’t give you a way to compute Qd. What is the average amount of time to service a request in a system where the queue depth is growing

I guess it depends on what you mean by "major". Pumps, injectors, spark plugs, etc tend to be redundant. You have airspeed & altitude. None of this is really specific to rotorcraft, though.

I think a confirmation dialog would defeat the purpose of an auto dial here — you need the auto dial because you have been incapacitated.

Ehhh no ethical consumption and all that but I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with that last sentence. If I become aware of a business treating workers poorly I’m inclined to find an alternative.

The seat number is imo the least impressive part. The wing gives it away.

More has to do with gusts for helicopters, partly because they can point into the wind which is no different from forward flight if it’s steady.

Indeed you can’t rely on GPS. But…the absence of GPS for more than a few hours is pretty weird. An automatic reboot and maybe nuke could be appropriate for some users. I guess then the faraday cage also needs a fake gps signal to defeat thi

That's true, that is a notable difference. But the presence of such firmware can still ruin your day in terms of repairability. Maybe you can't just replace that part because you need some special software to configure the firmwar

It depends on the role. IMO the bar is pretty low for many engineering roles. Determining “that you're a reasonable person when faced with interpersonal difficulties” is usually good enough.
