Nah, 2 or more time interns (only in the US, at the moment? Wasn't the case in Sydney, but was for a friend in Seattle) can get a FTE role if they have really good feedback from t heir internships.

Sure, but project management teams presumably also have a diversity problem, and engineers can certainly be a part of feature creation / selection.

No, I'd parse that as being 2/5. The difference is, you didn't say "40% more sick days are taken on Monday and Friday", which would imply (M+F) = 1.4(T+W+T) -> 58% of sick days taken on Monday and Friday, and 4

I'd say that this is kinda okay - if they'd asked him the same question, and he hadn't improved, it would've shown that he doesn't have much in the way of curiosity / doesn't want to improve.

Mmm, two things of note: 1) As has been mentioned, I'm fairly sure you can fix on a given dependency. 2) Changes to upstream libraries trigger tests on consumers of that library, so breaking changes tend not to happen.
