   I think basecamp is working on this kind of technology, but I think it is somewhat common for some performance focused shops to pre-render their initial HTML and cache it in their load balancer. Basecamp I think is taking it a step further.

   They are using AMD's latest polaris generation GPU's which are $/perf/W on par with Nvidia, just don't have any super-high end offerings (GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 are unrivaled)

   I would imagine that intrinsically the costs of buying/renting an X number of CPU cores and Y gigs of RAM just has a certain cost and therefore the price of VPS's just have to be at a certain minimum level. I guess Scaleway is jus

   Why is Scaleway so cheap compared to for instance: DigitalOcean?
