I learnt Dvorak in 2 weeks and got back to my hunt-and-peck QWERTY speed within a month, within 2 I was typing 60-70WPM without effort, and about 90% accuracy. I did this with no formal training and my only motivation was that at that time

dev.to seems to be a developer-focussed community similar to Medium but without a paywall. They have lots of (mainly younger) developers posting and cross-posting there, and it seems pretty nice as a reader or contributor.
