it's not that it's completely unbelievable, but I could see people having doubts considering: 1. AI exists and is widely used 2. A person only has so much bandwidth. If they put out 10 docs in a day, did they really hand write the

I love this problem and think it's super important. I've similarly noticed myself using a whiteboard to think critically for a while and then take a picture of the whiteboard as proof of deep thought, even if the next step is AI s

I think what's interesting here is that it's a super cheap version of what many busy people already do -- hire a person to help do this. Why? Because the interface is easier and often less disruptive to our life. Instead of hoppin

Well then there's the overall experience using the roads, regardless of roughness. For example, Texas' under interstate turnarounds are super weird and make running a local errand feel like a cross country trip as an example. Area

Command line would be the only necessity. You can write a script that could download docker & run it. That's what I meant by Makefile too.

I agree, I'd love to see this as a docker container or Makefile where dependencies are automatically pulled in if not present on the host machine.

I haven't reached my goals, so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I'm focusing on my environment and the habits. Doing the daily habit as best I can.

Just want to compliment how well written this article is. A lot of technical articles lack the context or basic background (“why”) and this article does a great job.

This is the same for the train and shipping industries. I’ve always thought those vehicles had ample opportunities to capture solar rays and wind since they’re out in the open all the time, but we simply don’t have batteries and engines pow

Point taken -- AWS is better at ops than the developers who create open source tools. Then why not pay a fraction of the money you're earning on offering these tools back to the open source community? Using something like GitHub's

It’s very interesting to me that he didn’t mention the B Corp organization, who attempts to do exactly that. Is there a reason for this? Maybe he thinks the requirements/audits are too burdensome?

They're really excited about 1.0 for this reason, they're tired of breaking other people's builds too. The goal is to limit that with the 1.0 release, so expect this to get a lot better.

Woo hoo! I got to spend a few days with the Bazel team in the NYC office a few weeks ago and they were really excited about this announcement coming out soon. Congrats! One of my favorite uses of Bazel is in CI/CD. I built a demo which

I didn’t say he is or isn’t. Just that no concrete conclusion has happened - the casino hasn’t agreed that he was cheating and kicked him out. He still seems to be participating and claiming innocence.

I’m glad to see this study. A high end steakhouse recently opened in Boulder and I got a chance to tour the place while it was under construction with the owner. He said for all of Boulder’s hippie food, people demand meat. There may be som

Lots of respect for working on a project for 5 years and releasing it to the world. That's really hard. Question - do you have financial goals with this project, or do you see it as a community / hobby project? If so, what are you
