Even the regular lossless RAW setting can sometimes be "not quite RAW" when the camera dynamically lowers the bitrate it captures at. My camera does anywhere between 12 bits and 14 bits RAW depending on the shooting settings. Many

I have one of those 3d printed saddles and personally probably wouldn't ride for more than an hour if I didn't have padded shorts. They are more comfortable than regular saddles, but not so much that they make padded shorts obsole

I tried to find the rules on the Guinness website, but they don't list any. Wikipedia just says that the world record doesn't distinguish between self supported and supported riders. I believe in any case it is kind of moot since

The functional optional pattern thing seems fine for constructors, but I wouldn't want to have to implement it for every single function. A lot of the times it is just about readability at the call site, e.g. (using the author's e

It's basically a schema-less database which you could query with SQL-ish syntax (PartiQL) and which provided additional views to let you query the history of changes. Git is a good analogy. I've never used the signing for anything

I've commuted about 3000 miles on my bike so far over the past year or so. I'll happily sell the excess I offset by biking instead of driving as a carbon credit to anyone that feels really bad about the horrible environmental impa

The problem with the VO2max metric is that there is no measurement of it outside of a few lab methods, certainly not in a fitness tracker, so they're estimating. It makes more sense to look at the other metrics that it CAN easily measu
