Yeah! People forget who we're talking about here. They put TONS of research in at an early stage to ensure that illegal thoughts and images cannot be generated by their product. This prevented an entire wave of mental harms against bil

Whaaaaaaa? How should it be legal to imagine minors naked? And in this case there is proof in the form of the child pornography they distributed.

IFL these threads always give vibes like, "oh, thank god that anti CSAM measure wouldn't actually work".

Bro there are too many words in that article. If it's just saying it thinks things are racist for no reason, then duh.

What the hell?? I bike to school every day. Our bike rack has like 100 bikes each morning, I can't even count. > It's become pretty common in the states to not allow children to go outside without supervision. You can, just don

The police were just overreacting bro. They still had good intent and I applaud them for taking the initiative to combat rampant child sex trafficking that is almost never fought against these drays. From the judge's point of view, sin

I click the star. Tor Browser doesn't have cloud sync but that's a small price to pay to prevent stalking. If I'm on my pc looking for something and realize it was saved on my phone I just have to take it out of my pocket, un

The way I always lose debates on social media is when a pedophile (or pedophile defender) argues with me. They have an answer for everything. I don't have that much time to be on screen to argue with them.

Isn't this a security risk?

Do nothing? Cracked software isn't a big deal. My cousin works for a 20 person company and they all make $200K / year.

Neat, must be like how bike gears only move forward when you pedal them. It looks hella dorky though. I think some Adidas running shoes are much more practical and already the fastest.

It didn't work (I think? It was just a white screen). I tried changing IP with CTRL+SHIFT+L and it wasn't doing anything, then tried copying the link and opening in a different window, but it wouldn't copy (because I used CTR

True, but it pushed the computer industry forward.

Makes sense, doing an intellectual activity while getting brain surgery probably helps them like when they tell you to move your muscles around when getting normal surgery.

Those tools are for generating images and art, not precise schematics. The post is criticizing them for failing at something they aren't meant to do.

This. Prostitution needs to be carefully regulated or else lots of non consenting situations become possible and incentivized. Prostitution should be legal as it violates basic rights not for it to be, but at the same time there should be s

Batch scripts are really bad for web dev. IFL your company would go broke if they used this.

Wow, with this and the iPhone 14's camera, they are massively ahead of all other companies. It makes me happy that I bought their products and helped create this.

Not everyone on insta publishes where they took the photo or wants it to be known. But if someone with an AI watches every camera in the world, they could easily find lots of people.

by mikotodomo 4y ago
This is horrifying. Insta should require government ID to view so if you stalk / kill someone the police can quickly narrow down the set of possible perpetrators and find you.

This is literally crazy. To think just a few years ago we could barely get 3Ghz. With this and AI breakthroughs I think the next decade will be crazy.
