I'm really hoping there is a fix for this in 4.0. After all, 4.0 does allow apps to 'state save' - I can't imagine a cached webpage would use much more ram than a cached app. The Safari refresh thing has always bugged me on my iPhone, but I

My friend has a site where you 'nominate' apps to be featured. It seems the devs with the crappy apps are always trying to game the system. Paying to get good reviews doesn't surprise me, but if you're going to do it you better not publish

A Thinking Ape is hiring engineers in Vancouver, Canada. http://www.athinkingape.com/jobs (I have nothing to do with the company, they're just in the same building as me)

I have friends in the UK, I paid them via Paypal and they setup the account for me. I realized when I was there in November last year I could've also gotten a prepaid credit card.

I've been much more interested in what Spotify is doing. I think if they could get into North America before Apple, they'd do quite well. At the moment I'm stuck with a UK VPN. I've been really happy with the service, it just feels like the

I love Jessica, I mean.. how can you not? I found myself smiling when she was laughing/smiling about something. Another great interview by Andrew, as usual. Though, one thing I've noticed in a few of the Mixergy interviews is Andrew making

For one, it was partially a joke. Canadians apologize too much and for anything. Let me be clear, I'm not sorry this happened to Bootup. I'm sorry because I don't want anyone to think bad of our city because of an event like this. Bootup ca

Friend of mine: "Opera Mini's flagrant disregard for UI conventions would get any other app rejected." Pretty much sums up my thoughts. It's bad on so many levels and somehow received special treatment.

It's usually not the big dating sites, it's those sites you get ads for if you use OkCupid or PoF. Affiliate marketers are familiar with these as they usually offer the best payouts. The majority are matchmaking services, or market themselv

I think there is enough room for everyone, I agree with what Marco tweeted about it: "I think the health of the Twitter-client market, for apps that all do pretty much the same things, shows that they'll all be fine." http://twitter.com/

I'm using a 20GB account that costs $6.99/mo. - It's perfect for me, but I don't think it's available anymore. I believe it was just a paid tier they put in to test if people would use it.

My friend made a healthy full time income dealing with just local advertising and building a network of sites for his city (some place in Pennsylvania). Businesses spend a ridiculous amount of money on offline advertising (ie. Yellowpages),
