There would surely be a huge amount. Another space where you'd need a whisperer would be anywhere near regulatory data. E.g. government mandating data is reported in a certain way. These are domain specific and typically cruel and unus

Barely related but I've yet to find a home run of an app for this site. I'm using materialistic at the moment but it's nigh impossible to manage replies and I can't see votes.

Double slit / quantum eraser definitely suggests to me that we don't understand some very fundamental aspects of the universe. If I think about the scale of the universe, points in time before the universe, or why there is somethi

I thought docker on Mac used a virtual machine + disk resulting in slower file io? As opposed to running containers directly against the host kernel / file system like Linux.

JIRA is not doing the SPA cause any favours :P. My rage builds even just trying to use the search bar on JIRA. Keys don't get captured and get registered as page hot keys, or some keys are registered and others aren't. Crazy, just

I seriously disagree. Branching models are one of the few things that can be decided upon at short notice. It shouldn't be changed every day, but going from merge commits to rebasing is not going to prevent anyone from working. The VCS

I laughed, but PHP Storm and IDEA are very good tools imo. Netbeans was quite good when I used it as well, although clunkier. They can be very memory hungry though (of course).

That's interesting, thank you. I do suspect for some media it's just that they expect me to listen to action scenes/intro jingles louder than I want to (maybe assuming a bigger room / TV further back?) But I will keep th

Java has gotten much better on the xml front. A lot of the tooling can abstract you from the brunt of it. Have you ever played around with Kotlin? Never say never my friend, as someone who has used PHP in the past I prefer Java by far. The

I find this an issue with nearly every TV show or movie ever made. The intro music is typically far too loud, and as you say dialogue is significantly quieter than the action scenes. I basically have to watch with the remote in my hand. I&#
