The bit.ly approach might result in false positives as the namespace for bit.ly links is quite easy to iterate over (assuming you don't use a custom link). Also, doesn't bit.ly access a URL to pull a title or generate a preview? T

A quick Google didn't yield much for "canary passwords", but it sounds like monitoring for passwords as opposed to user email/details as described in the OP. Care to shed a bit more light on what you mean here and how to

This threw me off, I really didn't expect Mozilla to bundle in something like this. However, here's the info, straight from the source: https://blog.mozilla.org/press-uk/2017/10/06/testing-cliqz

Wow, that first one is like Ur-Quan + Yehat + Spathi all wrapped into one! These both definitely nailed the SC2 aesthetic, thanks for sharing. (And also for all your work on VQ, it was an amazing journey to follow!)

Thanks. The domain suggestion engine was a fun component. It's not all that complicated... it really just tries a bunch of prefixes and suffixes on your keyword (plus some geo suggestions, if it can "find" you) and shows you

Yeah the false positives are such a pain. I've been maintaining a manual list (thanks for the @wood addition) but otherwise haven't really figured out a way to definitively sort through these.
