It seems like more of a suggestion recently. Often, things I quote aren't even in the first page of results.

Very true. Checks and balances do help, but the don't solve the issue of corrupt politicians.

For me at least, it seems fairly unintuitive and primitive vs Slack or even various open source options (Mattermost, Zulip). It feels like a product where Microsoft just did the bare minimum to claim they have a competitor in this area.

I'm not a big fan of agile, but right off the bat it seems clear that the author doesn't know what sprints are.

Nobody should get a "bit of a push". Affirmative action is a negative thing no matter who is the beneficiary.

Mobile doesn't help very much - I ended up just silencing calls not from contacts, which I get at least 5 or 6 a day

Oh yeah, might as well do it anyways just to see what you get from it. The amount of time is pretty crazy though, at least in my experience.

It usually takes years to get paid anything for these class actions, and then you might get a check for $5

ORM doesn't seem like an anti-pattern in my experience; sometimes they are very useful for certain applications, other times they aren't. This applies to all tools.

It was impressive how quickly Digg killed itself with the terrible redesign. Back then, Reddit was mostly considered a knockoff. It actually was to a large degree, but everyone moved to it very quickly.

I have a feeling that once they turn off the old reddit UI option, it will be even much worse.

You may be correct, but I doubt there is a high enough profit for such a cheap supplement to be counterfeited and sold 3rd party.
