Your comment is funny because in many countries all people that talk in a national assembly need to disclose their stakes. So yes I can imagine it, because a lot of parliaments work exactly like that. And I am not sure what "both ways&

If you have a reasonably high income, I think the tradeof is actually never worth it, because the marginal happiness from money gets so low. Sure I could buy a yacht but that's not going to make me much happier. Buying a mansion by the

That is only true because targeted ads are possible. In a world where there is no targeted ads, companies still need to get clients and compete. The marketing budgets of companies would not miraculously go down if targeted ads ceased to exi

Libya wanted nukes. They were convinced not to. Now see where they are and compare with North Korea. This is why Iran wants nukes and it is very logical.

I don't get this opinion. Cars are inefficient in space, slow and uncomfortable. How does that replace a high speed train in any way? If anything autonomous cars would be great for train travel as a last mile solution to replace taxis.

Email tracking works perfectly with Gmail users. You get get the precise time for when the mail is opened, even for repeated opening. Tested with regular accounts and google workspace. No idea where this rumor came.

Gmail does not. And even those who do are not warning you about the tracking part, only about loading resources. Most users will just think that they want to see the nice images and accept and have no idea that it means they are tracked.
