We use iMessage, FaceTime, FaceTime Audio, Discord, etc. I don't think teens (at least in this part of Canada), even know their own phone numbers, let alone make traditional voice phone calls :-)

I use keepgo.com, but there are many other sources, depending on how much data you need. For example, my middle kid is on an eSIM from Hong Kong, on the 3HK network. https://esimdb.com is a good resource. My kids are usually on

For me, my old phones go to my kids. We practice "trickle-down phonenomics." My daughter currently has my old iPhone SE2. Coupled with a cheap 365-day eSIM, and it's perfect for a young teen.

I had some Euros left over from a trip last summer. I put them in an envelope, put my super secret generated code on a piece of paper, and dropped it in the mailbox. A week later, my Mullvad account was credited with the extra time. I&#x2

Is this like Youtube's "Skippable" and "Non-skipable" ads? ie: you only pay for an ad if it wasn't skipped? Pay extra to have it not skipped? The emotions would be like ... if a person watches the entire ad?

I hope whoever takes over implements one simple change to the YouTube algorithm: If a user subscribes to a channel, show the user videos from that channel on their front page.

This is a failure of the free market. When companies get too big, and no longer compete, they should be regulated. The free market only works when there's a ... free ... market.
