Yes, this would greatly strengthen all big players that want to own the web (Goog, Apl..). Now if you want to make the competitive browser you have to pay the licenses, same for video site and probably many things. The absurdity goes even t

"I do things with video on web, so irrelevant, that they won't notice me" is not the solution to these things. At least not if you want to be a web entrepreneur? If the only widely adopted format on web becomes h264, which would already be

Funny that you mention Factor :) Programming in Factor made me really get REBOL (after 10 years) and then I returned to it for most of my work. LWP .. is that a p.lang?

Yes this is/was a problem. I left it 10 years ago because of closeness. Well now with R3 it's far far more open (I know that for some "more" open is enough though).

So what, one out of 10 images is a porn website and now "it played the porn card". Duh. I can't say if porn sites or farmwille is a bigger waste of time. I had a kids games site, and MOST kid's games (or other forms of edutainments) moved t

If in couple of years all web clients support only patented video codecs (which will happen if Mozilla doesn't succed here). Imagine doing a video startup or anything related to video that isn't irrelevant then.

You could call it without JVM. You are not programming ordinary Processing in Java but ~in~ Processing. Why is without "Java" a feature. It makes it not run in a browser and I doubt I could speed-wise make something like this with it. It's

Yes, those stats can be obtained by other means. S-A helps webmasters that need to manage 30, 50, 100 websites and obtaining stats for that many websites (and making them easily viewable with views, filters, details) would take A LOT of time
