No, it just means recognition and helps with awareness. Any support needs to come from the community.

A few day ago I disabled my ad blocking to test something and then browsed some of my daily sites. If ad blocking ever becomes impossible, I'll quit using the web immediately.

I have a Mac Studio and I’m very happy that it’s a small unassuming box on my desk.

Bit of a noob on these things here, but why 192GB? Why not, say, 256GB? I noticed the new mac pro also caps out at 192GB, is there a specific reason for that number?

Some info about these fonts here https://www.edutopia.org/article/do-dyslexia-fonts-actually-... Fwiw my dyslexic friends feel no benefit from these fonts. Would love to hear other experiences.

Are there more sites that show incidents/outages in sites/networks like this? Aside from maybe looking up individual statuspages...

Aside from that, pretty sure Apple is not subsidising this headset, whereas Meta is.

Since this is a thing with VC-lead platforms, how could this be done different, while 'almost' maximising revenue? Something that pays for cost + healthy extra margin. What is a path for something like Reddit , supporting 3rd part

I think Apple just needs to get this out. If it’s somewhat decent it may spur development in 3D and vr/ar tooling on the mac platform again, something which is sorely lacking after Apple’s disinterest and inability to have good GPU’s.

Learning that MacOS has thousands of open bugs, I'm wondering how many are open in Windows.

Why do you think this current iteration is a consumer product? Whatever Apple comes out with, it's for developers and Youtubers.

How about having an article asking about whether ‘we’ are ready for a sleek set of glasses with a camera in it that fulfills the promise of AR? Much more interesting than talking about a ‘nerd helmet’.

I may consider them at a much lower price-point and if they were much thinner, so not anytime soon :) My ideal is the Westworld style tablet, but that's sci-fi.

In The Netherlands we have A LOT of farmers with parkinsons. Most, if not all cases seem to be related to Roundup/Glyphosate.

Interesting to see which countries have these problems. Reads to me like it’s very much a political problem. In my country I practically have to fight my doctor to get pills or an xray if they deem it unnecessary. Which is great in the end,

Pretty sure Windows is on the path to no longer being interesting and necessary for Microsoft. Either they come up with a brand new iteration, or everything will go to the web.

The reasons sound very Apple-like. The current template-based Siri is not cutting it, but I do get the fact Apple does not want Siri to give wrong or incorrect info. People already go bonkers if an Apple Maps route is incorrect. Given that
