Are you talking specifically about the notifications? If so: GNTP is what I'm using for the notifications throughh Growl and there's already a Growl for Windows that supports GNTP ( http://www.growlforwindows.com/gfw/help/gntp.aspx ). I hav

Love it, the interface is great. I'd like to see query parameters stored in the URL instead. As others have mentioned, it'd be nice to be able to bookmark pages and you currently can't. In addition to the bookmarking use case, I'd want to b

I made a conscious effort to do that more on a recent talk that I gave, and I felt so much better with the results. It's surprising just how difficult it is to force yourself to pause for even a few seconds, but the payoff in terms of your

To that end, also give consideration to a screenshot of a (or, similarly, a stylized/cartoony) browser on Google Voice or a similar service. Don't even have to have a phone to easily carpool, then.

Looks great. From what I can gather, the carpooling is done on a recurring basis, where it messages you every week day. I'd love to see a single use option. My friends and I carpool all the time, but it's neither for school nor work. So, wh

Of note is that Kevin has put the data on GitHub ( https://github.com/kscanne/orthotree ) so that others can make their own visualizations. He offers some suggestions near the end of the post.

I've updated it so now you can list how many domains you'll transfer away. As of this comment, GoDaddy will lose 205 domains and 58 customers.

Great idea and execution, love it. Perhaps you mentioned it in the opening message and I just missed it, but...I was waiting for objects to appear that were oriented differently, and only by accident did I realize that I had to tap to rotat

I agree. I actually hovered over the example at first thinking that it might be interactive since there was such a prominent CTA above it. To the point of the description drawing the most attention, perhaps it should be swapped with the act

That's a huge stretch. It would be like claiming that an engineer at Google should email me whenever my website goes down and help me fix it because, if my website is down, then it's one less website in their index, and they need sites in t

I hear it's something that they're working on. You can sign up at https://stripe.com/global to be notified when they do come to your country. I bet that also gives them a priority list.

I have called PayPal once before. The experience wasn't horrible, but it didn't leave me enthusiastic like Stripe's does. I'm not holding that against them though: it's only one mediocre experience, and I have not used them much because of

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. Edit : I was looking at it more and, as MichaelGG pointed out, I think it still means that you have to handle the credit card on your server and be PCI compliant.

That's somewhat a fair point, but I'll disagree. In that instance, the co-founder replied, but I've heard from a number of Stripe's other employees since then, and in every case the customer support has been wonderful. Perhaps that's solely

The post is spot on. My initial attraction to Stripe was because of a reason mentioned in the post: not wanting to redirect or otherwise interrupt the normal order process of my site with another company's (branded) checkout form just to ha
