If the more senior program is of the same calibre and lacks skill in a language, then 100% yes. The idea of discounting proper experience is a clear example of the Dunning Kruger effect.

Also Atlassian says the same. They said last week that they just can't get senior people in Sydney. Personally I feel older people are not as good at the little puzzles they set as an entry test.

The credibility of the whole story fell to the floor when he said that sleep mode would kill more batteries because they fail when completely discharged. Apple has had top notch battery protection for years. Totally draining a macbook batt

Except the Google store does not sell the phone in Australia. It pretends to, but it sells it to you from Singapore in Australian dollars. You have no rights in regards to the Australian law in the case. If you buy the phone at an Australia

I have used them myself for error handling many times many years ago. When you don't have exceptions and longjmp scares the shit out of you, gotos for error handling are fine by me too. I agree, dogmatic banning of them precludes the u

I have not seen so many gotos in many many years. I guess it's the programming model in this case. I am sure this bit of code is going to be audited quite closely.

I am using Jetbrains Datagrip to write SQL all day, every day. It can auto-format SQL just like all their other tools can auto-format the language in use. It also has a bunch of other handy stuff like symbol completion from the current data

I find this comment extremely offensive. Microsoft is going to fix the namespaces in their SOAP for .net real soon now. In the meantime all you have to do is put a few patches in your non .net SOAP code to deal with the badly formed namespa
