It is my understanding they are making a fair profit in the Pixel phone and Android from ads too. Sure it's pessimistic but, after my experience, I still love to hate AWS and will choose it first. While the privatisation of Rackspace is a worry, damn their support is so good, albeit, they only offer a very limited number of services compared to GCE, AWS and Azure.
