My opinion is you are just a pessimist. They just have a slow ass system and his app is slowing it down even more. If their app was fast at the start of the semester, they wouldn't care. If he can figure out how not to add load to the sy

Do you have a google account? All you do is click on the google icon on the stackoverflow login page and put in your info. It's not that difficult. It's certainly easier than creating a new account. Also the point of the article you are

"High school is a massive, pointless waste of time. It's like prison." Maybe parts of it. In that it's extremely unlikely in ten years you'll talk to more than one person from your high school, but you'll still talk to many of your friends

I'd like to know a little more about the end... he says they switched back to private salaries and then a bit later half of the team left and half got merged into another company. Uh, that sounds like a bad result (but may have been totall

Unpaid internships are becoming EXTREMELY common (if not in the CS field, certainly elsewhere). In NYC this used to be only the case for fashion, but has now spread to basically every other industry. We had a discussion the other day at lu

Another problem not mentioned is this business model doesn't scale well for the companies it targets. It isn't just Get Satisfaction's pages you have to check... it's UserVoice's as well, and I'm sure there are others. If people have a pro

All it says is that your customers could be bad google searchers. Jason pointed out that depending on what you search for GS is the 3rd hit on google. It's not fair that I should have to compete with other people for my own product on Goog
