By ooc, do you mean the programming language? [1] if so, can you share any thoughts on how that affected the development process? Any quirks? Any features that made it much easier? Thanks! [1] http://ooc-lang.org/

This varies a lot depending on your exact situation. I interned in the bay area last year and it didn't apply to my case - and now I'm back on an H1 without any issues. The 212-E 2 year home country requirement has 3 conditions [1

Code Jam problems are in English, but, if I recall correctly, prevailing law in Quebec requires the problems to be in French as well.

In "British" English, a collective entity (such as a gang, or a company) is generally referred to using pluralized modifiers. It's a cultural clash, there's no practical reason behind it.

FYI, the link gives a 404. I think you forgot to add the '.html' at the end.

Just another data-point here, I read it as well (instead of watching the video) because I find it faster to process information that way. Also, the transcript uses "multitask" in a place where I'm quite sure "multicast" should be used - you

Won't this kill off services such as TinEye? From what I gather, this feature pretty much is exactly the service they provide; it's not unreasonable to think Google can pull it off better with their resources.

That was my intention, as far as the concept went. I'll look into the data issue as well, it was extracted from various places.

Thanks, I'll try and put in a fix. I extracted the data from a few sources and didn't have time to verify all of it.

I'd suggest looking into freely available online listings and writing a script or two to extract the data out. BeautifulSoup (if you're using Python) helps make it a nearly painless process in most cases.

The data was extracted from various sources, I haven't had a chance to verify most of it since there's a lot to go through. I'll try fixing this entry though.

I don't consider myself much better than average. However, it seems that a lot of time was wasted in school going over simple concepts multiple times just so the whole class could get it. That made it seem like a waste of time. Sadly, the t

A lot of people in my network had restricted their profiles as well. However, due to some change (I guess around two weeks ago), most of those profiles are somewhat open again, and I can access information that was blocked before. I really

The Wave I and Wave II are their most prominent offerings. They're pretty good on the hardware front. Personally I'd buy them without a thought if they ran Android.

I've written Bada apps (CTO at a startup that's done quite a few of them), but personally can't compare directly to Android/iOS as I've not worked with those. The toolkit is generally rough and you'll have to re-invent the wheel many times.

From what I recall, this is because the 'More' link is implemented using closures, which get garbage collected after a while. So if you take too long and a GC has happened in the meanwhile, the link will be broken.
