Hopefully things have narrowed but you can see from the trends data just how few people (API may be a different story) use claude relative to chatgpt.

A lot of this data is quite hard to find if you don't have access to a data provider like Bloomberg (and costs money to quote) so I can understand why they don't bother, even though they should obviously.

There's a retort called "Models of doom" that I haven't read but can vaguely guess what it'll say. When was the world supposed to have ended by now?

Parliament is fine. Or at least the reforms people have in mind are usually insane slop that would only mean ramming more, worse, shit through the pipe.

It's not a bad assumption. If you buy a bond, it's probably pretty close to it's fair value in large part because my colleagues and I, and our competitors make sure it stays that way.

Along those lines (synthetic data) I would keep an eye on the chinese labs given that they are probably quite data and compute constrained, in English at least.

Honestly not convinced it was about that. I'm sure he likes the stock going up but I think he is somewhat earnest about why he bought twitter, or at least what he wants to do with it when he got stuck with it. As per usual, he bet the

That desktop grade processor is probably basically a pup compared to a modern Apple silicon processor. M4 / similar vs some poor Intel chip throttling at 2GHz?

Do you perchance have something directly comparing jj and your branchless work? Regardless keep up the good work. Assuming some one hasn't done it while I haven't been paying attention I will some day write some code to support gi

I have been using `git-branchless` a lot and really liking it. It should be part of the main git project, consider it a halfway between git and switching to some other tool.

Are you saying you're not glad that the EU has chosen for you? I would ask an AI to generate a riff on a "I am the very model of a modern major general" but for some EU bureaucrat but I'll spare you the spam.

More generally I think he's decided he needs to own the platform to be able to grow. Him swearing about about (presumably) Apple telling them they can't do stuff (because tough shit, you're their serf) was legit I think.

I find them both equally bad just in different ways. Compare the gitlab UI with phabricator for example. The workflows are mostly a strange mixture of whatever github made up on the back of a napkin and Stakeholder-consultant slop.

I actually suspect the opposite. If you get access to or steal a large LLM you can potentially massively leverage the talent pool you have as a small country.

Judging books by their covers is underrated. In sociology most of the results that actually replicate are the ones that are true but people wish they weren't.
