Taste is subjective yes, very novel insight. Python is a hacky language that was never designed other than laying it's eggs against the grain of what we seem to mostly agree is godo — e.g. functional programming and composition. Big te

I'm curious what the story is with (if I have it right) V8 dropping sea of nodes. Is it an argument against sea of nodes or just that it isn't pulling it's weight for them at the moment

How else do you think we pay for (say) about half of all social housing in central London to go to those born overseas Or even just the bizarre notion of having best part of half of zone 1 be social in the first place.

I don't even mind the runes I just don't get the impression from the docs that anyone has a clear feeling about how to actually use them e.g. forget the toy examples, suppose an alien has given me clump of minified business logic

Software projects don't usually have the luxury of a violent but intuitive dictator running the thing. Obviously a mega budget tv show is going to be run from afar most of the time. Software can be like this, e.g. if you were building

I don't think we'll go quite that far but I can easily imagine a revival of a world in which the Internet is just a box in the corner of your office, and the church, driven by AI slop everywhere.

well to do anything new in a C# project one typically ends up making a class inside a new namespace, if I just want to write a solver with no state it's quite jarring and distracts from otherwise a pretty good language that I like work

When I dream I don't think about public static class IDream OOP is a scam, a useful scam but still a scam, it is in no way easier or better to force _everything_ to be a class P.S. not a functional programmer at all - except in dotnet
