Grok search is really good Similarly I find grok is less likely to police itself to the point of retardation e.g. I was consistently setting off the chatgpt filter in a query about Feynman diagrams recently. Why?

Love this kind of thing. Particularly in the age of AI being cheap and even on device there are even more reasons to have issues be near the code for easy access. Similarly things like automatically promoting bugs into the test suite as SHO

Who says there'd be a profit? Don't supermarkets rely on enormous scale and then eek out a few percent? I'd love a state that could do that (well, ignoring the orwellian aspect of that) but this is a game for the paperclip ma

Inevitable. GitHub is a good platform in need of some proper dev workflows (pull requests are atrocious, branches footguns, yml driven CI is a noose) but they've obviously won.

Git should have issue support or something like it as a convention but pull requests are an abomination that we are stuck with. No thank you.

The thing with MTW is that it's so big that it's quite hard to really mull over it (for me at least). it's a book that I can imagine reading a lot in a very quiet world (i.e. basically a dorm or library before phones or compu

I was weighing up (...) buying a copy of this the other day, in a physical bookshop. The thing was so big I couldn't actually buy it.
