We do not expect people to be honest in other aspects of their life. Just look at the cosmetics industry. Politicians with their campaign promises. Management with their corporate right-sizing and synergies. Kids and Santa Claus. (haha!) An

I can see how moderators would be instructed to surface content that is more "appealing" to the audience and beautiful people are no doubt going to be more appealing. It's like the contestants on reality TV shows tend to not

So Weird, reading your comment reminded me of how this is similar to how the immune system of an infected host can react with such ferocity that it kills the host. Like a Cytokine storm or a persistently high fever. Imagine if our reaction

First, there is always the possibility that I could be wrong. The markets could hover around these levels and fall no further. Second, I may not know when to buy back in. Do I back in after they have fallen 10%? How about 20%? Should I wait

I agree with both of your three points. (ha!) It was why I stated that it felt like a panic. The problem is panics are much like stampedes, they can take on a life of their own once they get started.

To put it into perspective, the last time the market behaved like (multiple drops of this magnitude) this was 90 years ago, in 1929, and it was at the start of the Great Depression. Today was the second largest percentage drop for US Market

You are entitled to your opinion, but I think you misinterpreted me there. I didn’t claim that they worked in isolation or accomplished it on their own. I was simply pointing out that the work, knowledge and understanding by the very few ha

It has always been the case that 1% of humanity pulls the other 99% forward. We do not need everyone to be a genius. We just need one. We do not need everyone to be Martin Luther King Jr. or Gandhi, or Michelangelo, or Bach or Einstein, or

The fundamental problem is that the narrative of the current administration is that globalization and global co-operation has been bad for the United States and that this policy has resulted in the U.S. being taken advantage of. However, th

The virus is certainly quite concerning, but those numbers are misleading. Italy almost certainly has far more than 2263 infected cases of covid-19. 2263 is just the number of individuals that sought medical attention, were given the test,
