GPUs are optimized for matrices of floating point values, so current neural networks use this as a basis (with matrices containing the scalar weights).

It is a very hairy cow, which likes to bite and is stuck in the mud. Also it has a wierd high-frequency response. There is a description of tractors to get it out, but we'll skip how the controls work for now.

If we want back the old internet we must build it. Create your own website, link to those you like, get in contact with the people running them. Mine is mglz.de, check out the link collection and get in touch about linking between sites :)

Well, who can realistically oppose billions of dollars coming to ruin something?

Well, the old internet was partially based on people knowing each other. Then the large players made it all about mass engagement. Maybe we should go back to linking your friends webpages from your own and have a small amount of readers.

For beginners it is super annoying that many tutorials say "there is a magical switch or oscillator here which is integral to the function of the boost converter, but we will not tell you how to actually realize it". Additionally,

NASA has a handbook on it: https://s3vi.ndc.nasa.gov/ssri-kb/static/resources/NASA-HDBK... Apparently you attach all grounds to some common component, like the chassis and then you have a zero volt reference.

A look at a microscopic image of any CPU is mind boggling, even older ones. Layer upon layer of stacked complexity, almost down to the single atom level.

Has there been any change in Boeing management (which is what led to the mess they are in)?

It is a massive failure and also very public. Some flight booking websites now allow you to filter for non-boeing flights. Sure, Boeing can take a lot of hits due to its size, but damage accumulates, trust erodes and a tipping point could b

Does overflying the US in low Earth orbit count as reentry? Or do you need to re-enter the atmosphere im order to re-enter?

The damage to Boeing is already done I am afraid. But moving forwards there needs to be accountability for management types that destroy companies in such a way. This is a massive destruction of capability for the USA and will continue to b

Hard to create and the results seem to get more and more unstable, making it very hard to do any science on them. However there is a theorized "island of stability", where superheavy elements might stick around for a bit longer:

The LLM is trained by measuring its error compared to the training data. It is literally optimizing to not be recognizable. Any improvement you can make to detect LLM output can immediately be used to train them better.

Normally I am a big fan of the EU but this is crap legislation. If you want to stop speeding, just do what France is doing: Frequent speed cameras and high fines. It is very rare to encounter somebody speeding there.

Lots of chopping trees seems to come from a laziness of thinking, where certain people in the city adminsitration are just used to the idea "trees cause costs". They never think any further about benefits beyond finances.
