Google docs (drive?) spreadsheets also have this capability, right? On desktop at least. Makes work on an 11" screen much nicer. I've used Foundation for a couple of projects and I'm really starting to appreciate how lean it is in compariso

Count me in too. I'm just not a fan of tennis. One 2560x1600 monitor feels much more fluid than tracking my head across two monitors that amount to a 16:5 screen with 3" of deadspace (bezels) running down the middle.

I don't know, I definitely prefer scrolling vertically (in both panels) on my MBA 11" to horizontally scrolling every time I need to read a line in its entirety. 680px wide just isn't enough for the inspector. That said, 1366x768 is certain

I've purchased more than my fair share from GameStop and have never encountered such pressure to buy used. What I have encountered is pressure to pre-order new titles and a subscription to 'Game Informer', a magazine that promotes new title

Actually, decoupling the display from the keyboard (iPad with BT KB) could result in a much more ergonomic setup. But in all honesty, the only time I use an iPad for dev is when my air is charging. Even Textastic pales in comparison to a ha

Have you viewed them on a new iPad? Much sharper than PNG/GIF. Even on "standard" res tablets, if an image-based UI element is scaled in any capacity, the smoothing renders it as blurry as an antialiased font or SVG.

The font looks great, but it would be nice if the headline and body copy were set in Subtle Sans to provide a live preview.

Same boat here. I've really only skimmed 'Think Complexity: http://greenteapress.com/complexity/index.html but it looks like a nice, digestible introduction to a broad range of topics. If you want to get more (way more) in-depth, have a l

I'm reading/working through this book now and can't recommend it enough, especially for those with limited time (or limited ability to focus and study due to environmental factors). I've worked through most of the first two chapters of SICP

I could use the old 8300 keyboards (even though the keys felt small), but my wife's 9780 is almost impossible for me to use with any precision or speed. It's much faster for me to use my N1 stock Android keyboard with one thumb than fumble

Is your browser not open to full width and height? I'm on an 11" MBA, and didn't have to horizontally scroll at all (at 1366px wide), and I could see the end of the fold easily. Regarding the disappearing scrollbars, I've actually added pro

I often have problems with eye irritation/fatigue after a long day of work and thought an e-ink device would make night reading easier. Got a kindle touch, tried it for a week. It was worse, without a doubt. I tend to read in dim light (ind

I've also had a lot of problems, primarily that email subjects don't properly link to the body. Very confusing. I gave up on the app after a couple of updates.

MBA 11" is actually 1366x768, but I'd prefer the 16:10 screen of the Asus over the 16:9 MBA. Also, unless the panel has changed, the Transformer has a beautiful IPS screen. The colors and viewing angle on my MBA suck compared to an iPad or

It's very common to use shortened URLs to decrease the complexity and size of the resulting code. I don't think most users scanning codes are any more concerned than they are clicking on a shortened twitter link.

I wonder if photography was rolled into that cost? I'm sure some shots are reused and rights-managed stock, but for those that aren't, the costs of planning, lighting, rigging, stylists, talent, etc. would be significant. And it looks as th
