(My) downtown is a disease ridden shithole - quite literally: I’ve seen people void their bowels on the street. It’s a good day when I only smell pot and fentanyl being smoked. Turn off downtown and let me work from home.

Get your doc to check your potassium/sodium levels. If your sodium is on the high end, and potassium low: check your aldosterone levels. I had that, turned out to be an adenoma on my adrenal gland that was flooding me with aldosterone

Same regarding percentage. But anecdote: just drove 135mi from my home to bend Oregon. Left at 90% soc, and arrived at 34%. If my gas vehicle had that kinda range (my old pickup had this kind of range), I’d be annoyed.

I want to know how they’re going to keep the homeless off the tracks. I ride Amtrak to Portland 3d/wk and the amount of weird stuff happening along the tracks is staggering.

Bullshit dogs aren’t chosen. My wife very carefully chooses each pup she keeps, and they’re often “culled” from her program as young adults when they don’t meet her standards. Anyone doing working/sport dog stuff 100% chooses the dog.

Nah, Nikola tesla was working with something unknown and strange at the time. There wasn’t a hundred years worth of engineering work behind the field. SpaceX’s “new thing” was recovering the first stage, which made subsequent launches cheap

I take 2mg ozempic, worst thing was starting (lower dose) and with any stomach upset, I get nasty sulphur smelling burps. It’s gross, but didn’t last.

Opossums eat ticks like mad and are immune to rabies. Maybe trap some and release around the garden?

I’ve a few hundred acres of forest next door to me, see deer every day. Until I have a valid tag.

> *Finally, it's interesting to hear comments from people saying the "wanted to punch everyone", etc, when they started TRT. At TRT doses, most men experience a sense of calm and confidence, rather than irascibility. Yup.

Didn’t lose weight at 1mg. Down about 20# since the 2mg was approved. But, also doing CrossFit 3D/wk. and now have a CGM so I can easily track blood glucose.

I’ve been on it (at 1mg, then 2mg doses) for 3-4 years now. Worst side effect for me is the tendency to have sulfur smelling burps if I have any kind of stomach upset.

My 9yro and 18yro regularly play. Including with each other on some online deal. Kinda cool how the internet lets them play together even when the 18yro is off at uni on the other side of the country.
