Well, sure - you can still send some signals to see ads that are relevant to the _content_ as opposed to the _viewer_. Example: you're seeing an article about devops and you get an ad about AWS instead of an ad that has followed you ar

I wouldn't say "ethical", but even Google's pubads can do non-tracking. For pubads, look into "setCookieOptions(1)" and "setRequestNonPersonalizedAds(1)" for a good start on the matter. It _can_ be do

One can include ads and analytics without consent being granted - they're "just" restricted to a method of delivering ads and performing analytics which don't track the user. IANAL, mind you - but that's how we impl

I've (admittedly, conceptual only) a couple problem with this approach I'd love to hear folks' thoughts about, with regards to "touch-to-use". 1. I still have a need to "for s in $list_of_servers; ssh -A $s &#x

I don't. Each agent gets one key, and that key alone. That's what helps. https://github.com/ccontavalli/ssh-ident is what I use to manage those agents - one agent per key.

If a bad guy gets root on one server you're currently connected via ssh with, and forwarding said key via, they can also access (unless otherwise firewalled) all systems that ssh key grants them access to. See also: https://

A while back (couple years) I started tracking how much coffee I drank, and (roughly) when. I created a simple Mojolicious webapp, putting data on a SQLite database. I later expanded it to accept/use an "API key" with which I

Do you find debian testing to be stable enough compared to debian stable, for servers? For similar reasons (stability), I always go for the current stable (although I've a couple machines on oldoldstable, because it takes a while to up

My pi is connected directly to the router via ethernet, and the bandwidth available to my home connection isn't enough to saturate it "unfortunately" (~95/20) so this isn't massively a problem for me. YMMV.
