Another interesting point is that .io domains started to become more popular after Google decided to categorize them as Generic ccTLDs [1] (I believe in 2013). Before this, .io domains weren't great because of Google's algorithm

> How did you get such a great domain name? From the awesome service at park.io A little disingenuous since the domain was never listed on park.io and this site was made by the same company as park.io. Makes me believe that they snatch u

I tried out Paribus when it launched on ProductHunt a while back. I was very uneasy about granting email access, but I did anyway. Turns out that they have trouble scanning my emails for Amazon receipts, so they recommend giving them my Ama

Somebody should add [2014] to the title. I started reading it, then realized that it all sounded familiar.

For visibility (people aren't reading this) From the author: "Folks. Please STOP +1 and :+1: -ing GitHub tickets. We get it, but it makes tickets hard to have conversations on. Contribute with something substantive instead."

I didn't know Tor had an Executive Director. Looking now at their staff list [0], I'm now unsure about how they have the money to support all these employees. All I see is a donate button. [0] https://www.torproject.org

While this is a very interesting read (learned a thing or two), the author's conclusion is a bit suspect. Using my custom http-traceroute, I've proven that the man-in-the-middle machine attacking GitHub is located on or near the

Run it locally like http://tinderplusplus.com/ or make it a chrome extension and it should work. Edit: alternatively, make it open source so we can see you're not doing anything sketchy with my facebook password.

Great idea, seems like something I would use. A digest email like github explore would be a nice addition. One nitpick: you intercept the cmd+click event, so when I try to open a link in a new tab, it also navigates the current tab.

Would be nice to have a slider to adjust the vertical height of the bars (I want to squish the whole thing down a bit, so it takes up less vertical space). Anyway, very slick interface, looking good!

I appreciate the irony of me posting this "hater" comment, but... my "most hateful" comment was this: "Thanks, would love to see your app when it's ready!" Not sure if it's ready for prime-time.
