I guess OP's post is just an irony about all the recent Electron apps bloat.

Just use ESLint, you can make it impossible to commit when doing ==. You can exclude pretty common var == null idiom as well.

Any chance to make it work on OSX 10.11?

I can't agree, if you are a Ruby programmer you immediately know what's going on in the first line and it's definitely more readable - you see it at a glance instead of having to scan three lines.

It would be useful to show some concrete examples instead of just documentation.

The biggest flaw for me is that any 3rd party script can access your localstorage without your knowledge, while it can't access HTTPonly cookies.

We as developers have privilege to work remotely. Don't excuse yourself saying "I need an office and people around". That's just not true, as you gain so huge amount of perks when you find a remote job it's madness

One of the things I like about JSX is that it will always make sure you write valid syntax. Problem with things like slim is that you cannot copy-paste directly from HTML.

For JS, you can do function length() { const { x, y, z } = this return math.sqrt(x * x + y * y + z * z) } I think it's pretty short, readable and explicit. EDIT: formatting

I meant that you have to create those components - they don't come with the library itself, contrary to [1] Blueprint for example. [1] http://blueprintjs.com/

Looks good, but comparing to other systems like this one but for React, it looks it's relying on plain HTML structure to compose layouts vs. using components system to generate and encapsulate HTML. From what I know Angular 2 supports

But the point is, neither React nor Mithril are frameworks, they are just unopinionated libraries where you write plain JavaScript code.

To me, it's not slower, performance almost exactly matches the blocking version. I'm on i7 Macbook Pro and Chrome.

How come you compare Django - a full-blown web development framework with Go - just a language? You should mention some Go frameworks which go well with React, I'm really curious to hear those.

Why is there a problem exactly? It seems even if hash contains "ad", uBlock origin is not blocking it. Does this problem exist for some specific ad blocking software?

The same for me. Author claims that remote working is less productive, but I can negate it very easily - for me, it is not. I feel much more productive when the only distractions are Facebook and Slack. They are still there in the office an
