Yeah that was my initial reaction as well, I just don't see it happening at all. I mean, we have to be serious here, they are going to put a Rover or something on Mars for $80 Million?!.......Nah. I'm not saying that's they wont EVER, but t

Well, considering my recent dealing with doctors and surgeons on this very subject of retina surgery...yes. I had torn retinas and the surgeon (who was very intelligent, and super nice) said that he is nothing more than a 'mechanic' since a

This is wonderful, I'm excited we are entering an age where its now becoming normal to use technology to augment or repair the human body. Rather than our old approach of letting medical science bodge a repair or remove faulty body parts, w

OSX BSD (or XNU based) is my operating system of choice. I used Suns and OSX during university and never been able to get into Linux.

Sounds fair. Samsung's 'designs' are total ripoffs of the iPhone anyway.

Was the C-130 Gunship on standby circling overhead or something? Why were so many 'assets' thrown into a raid? Who sanctioned this? I would be looking for resignations and full hearing/inquiries into total miss allocation of resources.

The simple fact is that before the iphone, many 'smart' phones were complicated horrible devices (badly designed from a hardware point of view) with very poor UI/UX. Then after the iphone they were all like the iphone in some way or another

Looks like some solid improvements, especially for the price they are charging. I hope they keep pushing though, I feel it could be a little quicker (especially on my older macs) and I feel compared to Snow Leopard it is noticeably slower (

Spot on I'm my opinion. I have both, and the nexus is great but I prefer the iPad in so many ways. The price point for the nexus is the thing that initially made me buy, and if it wasn't for the price I would never have gotten an android de

I think this is inevitable, when the body has a limit, people will look for ways to push those limits. Augmenting and enhancing the human body has to be considered and may end up being beneficial for other purposes. I prefer bionic myself ;

Exactly, I get to 10 tabs and it grinds to a halt. That's 10 sites with nothing more than text and a few images (hardly 5 plugins)....its seriously underpowered as is and with the new UI update its as slow as a dog on the Acer.

What do you mean? In terms of population? Europe is around 700 million and the US is what 400 million at the most and China is even larger. So given the population trails behind China and Europe, human rights in the US don't look that rosy
