Was this article written by an LLM? I had to scroll so far to get to the core content it kept promising, it's like it wasn't written for human consumption. Ultimately this article is kind of a FUD nothing-burger. People's s

The beginning item about if-else returns isn't go-specific and is low impact, and immediately turned me off / led me to dismiss the article as a waste of time. After trudging through more of the list, you've collected a lot o

I want to understand the purpose of maps.All(). In the example: m := map[string]int{"a": 1, "b": 2, "c": 3} for k, v := range maps.All(m) { fmt.Printf("%v:%v ", k, v) } fmt.Println(

Is there a command-line interface for this, or is it strictly library-only? Would be cool if there were a way to point to a memmapped region under /dev/shm or equivalent.

One single pick sounds nicest to me.. but this is still a very cool experiment. The "rubbing" sound described by the author is distinctive, more exactness across many strings isn't always more better. Otherwise you might as w

What kind of data is it 14% better on? The algorithm code looks like it's actually using Zstd, is that right? Please show some benchmarks. I'd like to repeat your test!

Agreed on this one, the "fix" involving the capacity flag, e.g. "2:3:3" is unintuitive compared to Python where there is no such concept. Still, as far as sharp edges go these are nothing compared to Java. See the discus
